Michael Smolders is the host of The Collar, a lay apostolate dedicated to exploring the mystery of the Catholic Priesthood through digital platforms and live events.

Michael is a senior executive leader with two decades of launching and operating businesses in multiple verticals of industry.

Driven by his love for Jesus Christ and sustained by a sacramental life through His Church, Michael’s mission is to share stories from Priests around the world to inspire young men to discern this noble vocation as a meaningful and happy way of serving God and His people.

Michael and his wife, Donna, are raising five children in the faith where they fully integrate their family in their local faith community.
